For listing people demands | Tribal elders and dignitaries in Manbij agree on forming relevant committees

Reliable sources have told SOHR that tribal elders and dignitaries have agreed on forming small committees of all tribes’ members with the aim to formulating people’s demands and submit them to the civil administration in Manbij city in order to discuss these demands and declare them tomorrow, Monday. This development came hours after the end of the meeting attended by tribal elders and dignitaries in Manbij city.

 

SOHR reported this morning that tribal elders and dignitaries met in Manbij city in northeast Aleppo countryside to reach list of demands to submit it to the civil administration in Manbij regarding the current events in the area to approve it. The meeting will give a time limit until the incoming Thursday.

According to SOHR activists, the most prominent will focus on cancelling customs, increasing Manbij share of fuel, secure animals feed and cement in reasonable prices as well as dissolving the civil administration and elect new one by the region inhabitants and populations beside cancelling Kafala system for the displaced coming to Manbij.

On the other hand, the Autonomous Administration has announced increasing the allocations of Manbij in diesel with 40 liter of each family with 75 Syrian lira for one liter.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported the release of 65 civilians who were arrested by military and security forces in the past protests in Manbij and its countryside eastern Aleppo.

Joint presidency of the Defence Office in north and east Syria has issued a circular to postpone the mandatory military service for all young males, who reached the age of conscription, from areas under the control of Turkey troops and their proxy factions, including the cities of Afrin in the countryside of Aleppo, Ras al-Ain (Sere Kaniye) in al-Hasakah, and areas in Tal Abyad in north of Raqqa.

This decree will take effect tomorrow, June 6, until the end of the year 2021.This decree comes for the general interest requirements and positive functioning, according to the Joint presidency of Defence Bureau.
