Reacting to US strikes on Iranian positions | Iranian-backed militias shell US military base in Deir Ezzor, causing material damage

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported that several artillery shells hit al-Omar oil field and the field’s residences in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, where a US military base is located, which caused material damage and burned down some cars at the targeted site, but no casualties have been reported so far.

 

SOHR sources have reported that Iranian militia stationed in west Euphrates region in the countryside of Deir Ezzor targeted the American military base.

 

On the other hand, US and Coalition reconnaissance drones were seen flying over the region

 

This development came hours after American forces had shelled positions and gatherings of Iranian militias on the Syria-Iraq border.
