De-escalation area | Amid anti-popular protests … Turkish forces target regime forces-held areas with 20 artillery fire southern Idlib

SOHR activists, in the de-escalation area, have reported that the Turkish forces have fire 20 artilleries, in the early hours of Friday, targeting Ma’atrat al-Noa’man city and the surrounding areas that are under the control of the regime forces in southern Idlib countryside.

The Turkish factions have also targeted regime forces posts in Jabal al-Zawiyah heavily with Grad rockets and artillery fire too, but no causalities have been reported yet.

Meanwhile, the regime forces have bombarded areas in Ma’rableat and Kansferah in southern Idlib, but, no injuries have been reported. It is worth noting that the Turkish strikes came amid popular protests against the Turkish side and its silence on the massacres in Idlib by the regime forces and its proxies.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that Russian warplanes targeted al-Barah town in Jabl al-Zawiyah with three airstrikes, in the early hours of Thursday. But, no causalities have been reported yet. It is worth noting that the targeted areas included Turkish monitoring posts and one of the strikes has been close to that post.

The attack came after a massacre by a rocket attack that had been carried out by the regime forces on Ibleen village in Jabal al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib countryside that killed seven civilians of the same family including four children, their mother, uncle and grandfather. The number of deaths is expected to rise because some of the wounded, including the father of the children, sustained serious conditions.
