Renewed attacks | Turkish forces and their proxies shell Kurdish-held areas in northern Aleppo

Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported that Turkish forces and their proxy factions fired several rockets in the early hours of Friday morning, targeting positions in the villages of Um Adasah, al-Jamousiyyah and al-Dandaniyyah in Manbij countryside in north-eastern Aleppo and other positions in the Kurdish-held village of Sadd al-Shahbaa in northern Aleppo. However, no casualties have been reported so far.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces and their proxy factions shelled positions in the Kurdish-held villages of Harbal, Tel Madiq and Sadd al-Shahbaa in the northern countryside of Aleppo, but no casualties were reported.

On Wednesday, SOHR activists documented the death of six Turkish-backed militiamen in Aleppo countryside as follows:

  • Three militiamen were killed in an attack with a guided missile fired by the SDF-baked forces of “Jabhat al-Akrad” on positions of the Turkish-backed factions’ positions in al-Kuraydiyah village in the eastern countryside of al-Bab city.

  • Three militiamen of “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyyah” were killed in clashes with Kurdish forces on the frontlines of Maryamin in Afrin countryside in north-western Aleppo.

Its worth noting that two of the fatalities had been displaced from Rif Dimashq to Afrin under Russian-Turkish deals.
