ISIS deaths | Six ISIS members killed in Russian air strikes in Syrian desert

 

The Russian warplanes have continued their air scouting raid on the Syrian deserts that coincided with air strikes on the ISIS hotbeds in Raqqa-Aleppo-Hama triangle and two deserts in al-Rasafah that target caves and weapons, where the death of six members of ISIS cells was confirmed in the Russian strikes in the past few hours.

Earlier, SOHR activists reported finding a body of a member of the regime forces who was killed in unknown conditions near al-Mazara’ region stationed in al-Mayadeen desert east Deir Ezzor, which is the largest gathering of Iran-held factions in the region.

Since 24th of March 2019, SOHR has documented the killing of at least 1,547 regime soldiers and loyalists of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, including at least two Russians, and 153Iranian-backed militiamen of non-Syrian nationalities. All were killed in attacks, bombings and ambushes by the “Islamic State”, west of Euphrates in the deserts of Deir Ezzor, al-Raqqah, Homs, al-Suwaidaa, Hama and Aleppo.

Also, four civilians working in gas fields, tens of shepherds and other civilians were killed and documented by SOHR in the same period, from late March 2019 until today. They were killed in attacks by ISIS cells. While 1,044 ISIS members were also killed in attacks and bombardment in the same period.
