A week after arrests | SDF releases nine civilians detained over protests in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported that SDF has released nine residents of al-Shuaytaa who were arrested a week ago from Abu Hamam town in Deir Ezzor countryside, after they took part in a demonstration against SDF’s policies and violations against people of Deir Ezzor.

On September 13, protests erupted at the crossroad of al-Qahawy in Abou Hama town in al-Shiabaat neighborhood in east Deir Ezzor countryside to demand the release of the prisoners and to unveil the destiny of the missing.

The protesters also called for providing clean water and irrigation water and fuel and they expressed their rejection for the SDF-impose conscription and the continuation of protests until the protests respond to their demands.
