Escorted by Coalition helicopter | SDF and Asayish forces continue expanding near al-Sena’ah prison in Ghuwayran

 

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported that continuous hovering of the International Coalition in the vicinity of al-Sena’ah Prison stationed in al- Ghuwayran neighborhood in al-Hasakah province amid deployment of the military police and SDF-held security forces and al-Asayish in the vicinity of the prison that include prisoners of ISIS.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported seeing International Coalition helicopters flying at a low altitude and firing flairs over al-Hasakah.

According to SOHR sources, Syria Democratic Forces, backed by International Coalition Forces, have transported prisoners from Ghuwayran prison in al-Hasakah to al-Shaddadi city’s prison, which was constructed with International Coalition support.

Local sources have reported that prisoners of ISIS carried out a rebellion in al-Sina’a prison this evening, while security forces were deployed in the perimeter of the prison.

A day earlier, International Coalition helicopters hovered over al-Hasakah city and opened the sound barrier at low altitude, which caused disturbance of the residents.

On October 10, SOHR activists reported hovering of the International Coalition helicopters over al-Hasakah city within the areas under control of the autonomous administrations in north and north east Syria where the hovering was run over low altitude while it stroke thermal balloons in the areas.

Reasons of the morning hovering remained unknown till the moment and no one knew if the hovering was conducted for certain security operation or for protecting coalition armored vehicles, given the area hosts a prison that included ISIS cells members.

On September 20, SDF closed road 60 in Ghouiryah district in al-Hasakah city, which coincided with carrying out security operation in the same neighborhood where a prison that hosts ISIS members is located.

The combing operation aimed at searching for ISIS cells and weapons while the International Coalition hovered above the region.
