For third time |Turkey-backed Military Police arrests young man from Rajo neighborhood in Afrin village

 

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that patrol of Turkey-backed Military Police has arrested a young man from Kousanly village in Rajo town in Afrin countryside northwest Aleppo on November 3. and arrested the young man on charges of serving in ranks for the Kurdish forces after controlling Afrin.

It is worth noting that the young man has been arrested for two times by al-Sham Corps and the Military Police and then he was freed after paying ransom before the Military Police has arrested him for the third time.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that the military police and Muhammed al-Fateh faction, which control the village of Maamal Oshaghi in Rajo district in Afrin countryside, released 14 civilians from Maamal Oshaghi village, after paying a ransom of 1,400 Turkish liras by their relatives.

According to SOHR sources, the released civilians had been arrested by the Turkish-backed factions on November 1 for “dealing with the former Autonomous Administration”.

The release of these civilians coincided with a raid by joint patrols of the Military Police and Muhammad al-Fateh faction, targeting three houses in Maamal Oshaghi village where they arrested three other civilians on charged of “participating in guard shifts during the former Autonomous Administration control of the canton. The arrested civilians were taken to the military police’s headquarters in Rajo district.
