Russian threats for targeting SDF-held areas | Oil tanks wait to enter SDF-held area via al-Tayha crossing in Manbaj countryside

Trade movements continue between the SDF-held areas and the Syrian regime-held areas despite of the ongoing tensions due to the Russian threats for achieving gains in the SDF-held areas and the military faction in the region.

SOHR activists have reported with video and photos the long queues of oil tanks in west of Manaj waiting for crossing to the SDF-held areas via al-Tayha crossing in Aleppo countryside. It is the same crossing that a Russian general has threatened to bombard it if the SDF hasn’t responded to the Russian demands for promoting the regime role in the SDF-held areas wither in Manbij or other regions. Russians play on the card of Turkish threats to launch military operation in the region to make personal gains and press the regime more presence in the SDF-held areas.

On Nov. 8, in light of the current events in north and east Syria including arrival of regime military reinforcement to the SDF-held areas in light of the Turkish threats bout launching military operation targeting the SDF-held areas, SOHR activists have reported that the Russian forces press the SDF to allow the regime force to enter tanks to Manbaj in eat Aleppo and deploy it in the region.

However, the Russian general rejected the request and threatened to bombard al-Tayha/Abou Kahaf crossing in west Manbij that connect the regime-held areas with the SDF-held areas.
