IED explosion | Blast hit south al-Hasakah countryside, SDF’s engineering teams detonate other IED
Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported IED blast in the past few hours on al-Khourafy road in the 46th region in south al-Hasakah countryside that is stationed under control of the SDF. But, no casualties have been reported yet.
On the other hand, SDF’s engineering teams have detonated another IED on the road between al-Shadady city and Markadah district in al-Hasakah countryside also.
On Oct. 11, SOHR activists reported security alert between al-Shaday and al-Hasakah cities in north Syria which coincided with joint security operation between International Coalition, the SDF and the Iraqi forces at the border line.
According to the sources, the joint forces arrested an ISIS first line leaders in al-Sishisah town in al-Hasakah countryside.
According to SOHR activists, the arrested fighter is a former deputy to ISIS leader Abou Bakr al-Baghdadi who has been killed 2019 in Jabal Harem in north Idlib countryside in a US air drop off operation.
