Military drill | Coalition conducts live-fire exercises at its base in Al-Omr oil field in Deir Ezzor countryside

Deir Ezzor province: Violent explosions were heard in the International Coalition base in Al-Omr oil field, caused by military exercise with live ammunition by International Coalition Forces. The forces have fired missiles from their base on Daman desert in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

SOHR activists have just reported seeing a new convoy of the International Coalition crossing into northeast Syria region from Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The convoy, which comprised 20 trucks carrying military and logistical supplies, headed to the Coalition bases in Al-Hasakah countryside. It is worth noting that this was the fifth batch of its kind to enter north-east Syria in December.

On December 14, SOHR activists reported that an International Coalition convoy entered areas in north-eastern of Syria through Al-Walid border crossing with Kurdistan region, and headed towards the military bases in Al-Malekiyah (Direk) city in Al-Hasakah countryside. The convoy comprised 15 vehicles carrying logistic and military materials. SOHR sources added that a meeting took place between the International Coalition and SDF in Al-Malekiyah base, coinciding with entry of the military convoy.
