Syrian desert | Russian jets target new positions, bringing the number of airstrikes in January to over 100

Reliable SOHR sources says that four Russian fighter jets have consecutively targeted positions in Al-Rasafah desert and other positions near the administrative border connecting Al-Raqqah, Deir Ezzor and Homs provinces, along with flight by two grand reconnaissance aircraft over the Syrian desert.

 

SOHR sources could document 35 airstrikes by Russian fighter jets on the Syrian desert since morning. Accordingly, the number of airstrikes executed by Russian fighter jets since the beginning of January 2022 has reached 104.

 

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that Russian fighter jets executed four airstrikes on Al-Rasafah desert in Al-Raqqah countryside.
