Renewed clashes | “Al-Bab Military Council” and “National Army” trade fire in Aleppo countryside

Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported violent clashes between the SDF-backed “Al-Bab Military Council” and factions of the Turkish-backed “National Army” on the frontlines of Al-Boghaz and Al-Ajami in Al-Bab countryside in eastern Aleppo. The clashes coincided with heavy artillery and rocket fire by Turkish forces in Al-Boghaz village which is controlled by “Al-Bab Military Council”.

 

Meanwhile, “Al-Bab Military Council” fired mortars on Sheikh Naser and Al-Ajami villages which are controlled by the “National Army”, which caused damage to civilian houses.

 

On the other hand, violent clashes erupted between the “National Army” and “Manbij Military Council Forces” on frontlines in northern and eastern Manbij, Al-Kawkili, Al-Arimah and Kurhiyouk in the eastern countryside of Aleppo. However, no further details have been reported yet about the number of casualties and material damage caused by these clashes.

 

On January 21, reliable sources informed SOHR that violent clashes with heavy and medium weapons erupted between the National Army faction and Al-Bab Military Council on the frontlines of Al-Ghour in the countryside of Al-Bab city in east Aleppo. The clashes coincided with artillery fire by the Turkish forces on the same frontlines. However, no further details were reported about the number of casualties and material damage.
