Dramatic military escalation | Turkish forces and “National Army” factions shell over 50 villages and towns in Aleppo, Al-Raqqah and Al-Hasakah in 72 hours

In light of the noticeable military escalation by Turkish forces and their proxy factions in north and east Syria, namely SDF-controlled areas and other positions where Kurdish and regime forces are deployed in Aleppo, Al-Raqqah and Al-Hasakah countryside, SOHR sources documented violent attacks with hundreds of heavy artillery shells and rockets on over 50 villages and towns in these three provinces in the past 72 hours. These attacks caused broad destruction and substantial material damage to civilian properties.

 

These targeted towns, villages and sites can be distributed regionally as follows:

 

-Al-Haskah countryside: Tel Sha’eer, Al-Wardiyah, Daldara and Um Kaif.

 

-Al-Raqqah countryside: Jahbal, Mushayrifah, Al-Nakhil restaurant on the M4 highway, Mo’allaq and Ain Issa camp.

 

-Aleppo countryside:

 

• Al-Shahbaa and Manbij countryside: Shirawa, Sharra, Kafr Naya, Tel Rifaat, Deir Jamil, Al-Dandaniyah, Al-Sayyadah, Al-Yanily, Al-Jubah, Houshariyah, Qart Wayran, Sayyadah, Awn Al-Dadat, Arab Hasan, Al-Shahbaa Dam, Al-Samouqiyah, Wardiyah, Ghernatah, Al-Harbal, Mayyasah, Zarna’itah, Sheikh Issa and Tanab.

 

• Ain Al-Arab (Kobani): Sheyoukh Foqani, Zor Maghar, Bayyadah, Ziyyarah, Jalghalu, Ashmah, Silim, Kour’ali, Dakmadash, Saftak Foqani, Saftak Tahtani, Boban, Jarqili, Dawli Al-Saghir, Kharab Itu and Kharab Atu.
