Ceasefire violations | Opposition factions and regime forces trade fire on Jabal Al-Akrad and Sahl Al-Ghab frontlines

SOHR sources in the “de-escalation zone” have reported that seeing Russian reconnaissance drones flying over Jabal Al-Zawiyah, Sahl Al-Ghab and Jabal Al-Akrad. Meanwhile, regime ground forces bombarded, in the early hours of Friday morning, positions in Fulayfel, Al-Faterah, Sfuhen in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib and other areas in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama.

 

On the other hand, the frontlines of Kabana in Jabal Al-Akrad and Al-Mashare’ in Sahl Al-Ghab experienced exchange of heavy and medium machinegun fire between regime forces and opposition factions, but no casualties have been reported.

 

SOHR sources had reported rocket fire by regime forces in the early hours of Thursday morning, which targeted positions in Sfohen, Al-Fatirah, Fulayfel, Bayanin and the outskirts of Al-Barah in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib. No casualties were reported. Meanwhile, regime forces and factions operating in the area traded heavy machinegun fires on the frontlines of Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western Hama countryside.
