Recurrent event | Regime checkpoint blocks US convoy in Al-Hasakah countryside

SOHR activists have reported that regime forces stationed at a military checkpoint have blocked a US patrol near Tel Al-Dhahab village in Al-Hasakah countryside and forced the US patrol to change their way. No skirmishes have been reported. It is worth noting that blocking US patrols by regime forces has been repeated almost daily.

On May 9, SOHR activists reported that members of the National Defence and regime loyalists intercepted a US patrol comprising four military armoured vehicles, and prevented the patrol from passing in Hamo and Al-Da’doshiyah villages in Al-Qamishly countryside, while the vehicles headed in a different direction without quarrels. Recently, such incidents are repeated almost daily.
