New assassination | SDF member shot dead in northern Al-Raqqah countryside

SOHR activists have reported that fighters, believed to be affiliated with ISIS cells shot dead an SDF member at Al-Asadiyah farm, north of Al-Raqqah.

According to SOHR activists, SDF is from Al-Mayadeen city, which is controlled by Iranian-backed militia in Deir Ezzor countryside.

This comes in light of escalating activity of ISIS cells across SDF-controlled areas, particularly in Al-Raqqah and Deir Ezzor provinces.

Since early 2022, SOHR has documented 97 operations carried out by ISIS, including armed attacks and explosions, in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration.

According to SOHR statistics, these operations left 78 persons dead: 30 civilians and 45 members of SDF, the Internal Security Forces, and other military formations operating in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration.

It is worth noting that these attacks have not included the operation of Ghuwayran prison, which left heavy losses.
