Daraa security chaos | Unidentified gunmen assassinate member of local faction of Security Branches

Daraa province: SOHR activists have documented the death of a member of a local faction of the Air Force Intelligence and the Military Security, where unidentified gunmen shot him dead in Al-Masifra town in eastern Daraa countryside.

This comes in light of the security chaos in different areas of Syria.

Since early 2022, the number of attacks documented by SOHR in Daraa province has risen to 322, which left 276 people dead; and they are as follows:
• 133 civilians, including three women and five children.
• 119 regime military personnel, “collaborators” with security services and members with settled-status working for regime services and backed militias.
• 13 former fighters who did not joined any military formation, after striking reconciliation deals.
• An ex-ISIS member.
• Seven unidentified people.
• Three militiamen of the Russian-backed 5th Corps.
