“False Iranian rumour” | SNC member comments on reports about Turkey’s demand to SNC members to leave Turkey

In an exclusive SOHR interview, Abdullah Sarhan Kaddu, a member of the political body of the Syrian National Coalition (SNC), has confirmed that the reports circulating by some agencies about Turkey’s demand to the members of SNC to leave Turkish territory are completely untrue.

 

Kaddu says, “the Turkish Foreign Minister met with a delegation of senior representatives of the coalition, the Negotiating Committee and the Syrian Interim Government a few days ago. During the meeting, Turkish Foreign Minister confirmed that Turkey is adherent to the UN Resolution No. 2254.”

 

Commenting on the “Iranian media’s rumours,” as he described, Kaddu says, “we are used to hearing such false rumours.”

 

Kaddu has also stressed the continuous support provided to the coalition by Turkey which “embraces” the coalition on its land.
