IED explosion | ISIS cells target an SDF vehicle in southern Al-Hasakah countryside

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported that unidentified gunmen, likely to be ISIS members, targeted a vehicle carrying SDF members with an IED explosion in “Ghariba Al-Sharqiyah” village in Maisara area southern of Al-Hasakh, damaging the vehicle. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

SOHR has documented 139 operations carried out by ISIS, including armed attacks and explosions, in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration since early 2022. According to SOHR statistics, these operations left 110 persons dead: 37 civilians, including a woman and a child, and 73 members of SDF, the Internal Security Forces and other military formations operating in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration.

It is worth noting that these attacks have not included the operation of Ghuwayran prison, which left heavy losses.
