Separate attacks | Civilian and man accused of “collaborating” with regime forces assassinated in rural Daraa

Daraa province: SOHR activists have documented the death of on a civilian from a Bedouin tribe in Al-Lajat area, where unknown assailants shot him on the main road in Al-Mulayha Al-Gharbiyah town in the eastern countryside of Daraa.

 

On the other hand, an ex-member of former Jabhat Al-Nusra, accused of “collaborating with regime forces, was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Sahem Al-Golan town in western Daraa.

 

Since early 2022, the number of attacks documented by SOHR in Daraa province has risen to 420, which left 354 people dead; and they are as follows:

 

  • 169 civilians, including four women and six children.

 

  • 146 regime military personnel, “collaborators” with security services and members with settled-status working for regime services and backed militias.

 

  • 24 former fighters who did not join any military formation, after striking reconciliation deals.

 

  • Four ex-ISIS member.

 

  • Eight unidentified people.
