Failed attack | Five HTS members killed and three others captured in attempt to capture key village in Afrin countryside

Aleppo province: Reliable sources have informed SOHR that Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and Al-Amshat faction managed to capture more strategic positions in “Olive Branch” area, including the villages of Sennarah, Anqalah and Marwaniyah in Sheikh Hadeed district in Afrin countryside.

Meanwhile, Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham opened heavy machinegun fire on Kafr Jannah village in Sharan district in Afrin countryside, in an attempt to capture the strategic village which will paves the way for HTS, in the case that the group manage to capture it, to impose its control on the main road to Sharan district.

Despite the violent attack, during which five members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham were killed and three others were captured by Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyyah, HTS has failed so far to impose its control over Kafr Jannah village.
