Second day in row | Turkish troops shell Tel Rifaat district in Aleppo countryside

Aleppo province: Turkish forces stationed at Thulthana base on the outskirts of Marea city have fired more than ten heavy artillery shells on the vicinity of Tel Rifaat district in the northern countryside of Aleppo for the second consecutive day. No further details have been reported about the number of human and material damage so far.

Yesterday, SOHR activists have reported that clashes with heavy machine guns between “National Army” factions on one hand and Kurdish and regime forces on another on Marea-Harbel frontline have been renewed. However, no casualties were reported.

Meanwhile, Turkish forces fired several artillery shells at the outskirts of Marea in the vicinity of Tel Rifaat, leaving no casualties.

Moreover, Kurdish and regime forces bombarded the perimeter of the National hospital, around which there is a Turkish military post, causing material damage only.

On November 1, Several rockets fired from areas where Kurdish and regime forces are deployed in northern Aleppo countryside hit the outskirts of “Kuwait Al-Rahmah camp” in Shirawa district in Afrin countryside, north-west of Aleppo. No casualties were reported.

It is worth noting that Kuwait Al-Rahma camp houses approximately 750 families who were displaced by the ongoing raging war in Syria.
