Syria-Turkey border | Rockets fired from Ain Al-Arb hit Turkish territory, leaving eight Turkish people ki-lled and injured

Today, border areas are witnessing an exchange of artillery and rocket fire between the SDF, regime forces and Kurdish forces on one side, and Turkish forces on the other.

A group of rockets hit Turkish town of Qarqamish, adjacent to Jarablus city, leaving two Turkish people dead, and six others injured, according to Turkish media.

According to SOHR activists, the source of the missiles and rockets was fired from the western areas of Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, where SDF and regime forces military posts are located. However, none claim responsibility for shelling Turkish territory.

On Monday morning, all areas held by the Autonomous Administration of North and North-East Syria and areas where Kurdish forces are deployed in the northern countryside of Aleppo see the mobilization of military formations operating in the area after hours of the most violent Turkish airstrikes since Operation Peace Spring that hit these areas and was followed by intensive ground bombardments concentrated mainly on the north-western countryside of Al-Hasakah.
