With flight of Turkish warplanes | Clashes erupt between regime forces and “National Army” factions in Aleppo

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have monitored intermittent clashes between Kurdish and regime forces on one hand and “National Army” factions on the other hand on Maranaz frontline in Shiran district in Afrin countryside, amid Turkish artillery shelling on the vicinity of Tel Refaat city, Al-Shaikh Eissa, Maranaz and Ain Dakna villages in northern Aleppo countryside, coinciding with the flight of Turkish warplanes over the region.

A few hours ago, SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces and their proxies fired heavy artillery shells on the vicinity of Tel Refaat district in northern Aleppo countryside, Soghonaki, Al-Mayasa and Zarna’it villages in Shirawa district in Afrin countryside in northern Aleppo countryside.

This came in light of the eruption of intermittent clashes with heavy and light machineguns between regime forces and “National Army” factions on Tadif frontline in eastern Aleppo countryside.

Meanwhile, Turkish forces stationed at Kaljburban base continued to shell the villages of Maranaz, Al-Malikiyah, Al-Shawargha, Meng military airport, the vicinity of Tel Rifaat and Al-Sheikh Issa in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

In the early hours of Sunday morning, Turkish aircraft carried out intensive airstrikes, targeting areas where Kurdish and regime forces are deployed in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
Turkish airstrikes hit positions at Meng military airport, Al-Shawargha, Maranaz and Al-Malikiyah. No casualties were reported.
