Arrested two months ago | Man from Afrin countryside di-es under tor-ture in regime’s prison

Aleppo province: A civilian from Sinnarah village in Afrin countryside, north of Aleppo, died under torture in regime’s prison, after a two-month arrest.

The victim was arrested after arriving in Aleppo for treatment.

The dead body was handed over to the victim’s relatives today.

Since early 2022, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) has documented the death of nearly 104 civilians under torture in regime prisons, including three regime dissident officers, three regime army defectors, a fighter of a local faction in Daraa and 38 civilians from eastern Ghouta in Rif Dimashq, whose death certificates were delivered by the Syrian regime to their families in February.
