Disputes over animal stock | Seven casualties in family infighting in Al-Suwaydaa

Al-Suwaydaa province: Three people were killed and four others were severely injured in clashes that erupted with machineguns between two families due to disputes over animal stock, near Aray town in western Al-Suwaydaa countryside.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the disputes took place between members of Al-Monawar and Al-Sa’ifan families, where both come from one tribe in Al-Arab neighbourhood in Aray town, where the disputes escalated to armed clashes with casualties among both sides, where the injured people were taken to Al-Suwaydaa National Hospital and three of them were confirmed to be dead as a primary death toll, amid security tension and fears of eruption of clashes again for revenge.

Moreover, the dignitaries of the tribes prepared to interfere and head to Al-Arab neighbourhood in Aray town during the next few hours to calm the tension and prevent the eruption of clashes that would cause more casualties.
