Renewed bombardment | Turkish forces and their proxy factions shell positions in Manbij countryside

Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported that Turkish forces and their proxies stationed in “Euphrates Shield” area shelled positions in the SDF-controlled village of Jabal Al-Sayyad in Al-Arimah countryside in Manbij countryside in western Aleppo. Only material damage have been documented.

 

It is worth noting that military operations have escalated in areas in Aleppo countryside since early 2023, which coincided with sporadic infiltration operations.

 

SOHR sources had reported that violent clashes with heavy and medium weapons erupted between regime forces and Turkish-backed factions on the frontlines of Tel Jayjan and Abla in the eastern countryside of Aleppo following attacks by the factions on regime positions. This coincides with the ongoing escalation by the faction. According to SOHR sources, the violent clashes left six casualties among regime forces, where the death of at least four was confirmed.
