Arbitrary arrests | Turkish intelligence and military police arrest young woman from Afrin countryside for “working previously in Autonomous Administration institutions.”

Aleppo province: A young woman from Qasim village in Raju district in Afrin countryside, north-west of Aleppo was arrested by Turkish intelligence and military police on January 12 for “working previously in “Autonomous Administration” institutions.”

On January 7, Turkish intelligence patrol personnel arrested a resident of the Bablett village in Afrin countryside at his house in Afrin city for “performing compulsory service during the control of the former “Autonomous Administration” in Afrin.

At the beginning of 2023, the General Security Service of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham arrested two former members of Jayish Al-Islam faction for “trafficking in narcotics and participating in clashes against HTS in Qarzihil village in Shirawa district in Afrin countryside in 2022.
