Tort*ure victims | Civilian from Deir Ezzor di*es under tort*ure in regime security centre

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR sources have reported that a young man from Hatla town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor died under torture the regime’s military security branch in Deir Ezzor city, after having been arrested nearly 11 months ago.

 

It is worth noting that the man was a civilian and had not joined any factions or military bodies.

 

According to SOHR statistics, the number of people who have died under torture in regime prisons and security centres since early 2023 has reached eight, including a regime army defector, a member of the regime’s military security service and a member of a local faction in Al-Suwaidaa.
