Following orders by regime’s government | Security services arr*est 18 “drug” dealers working for Iranian militias in Al-Bokamal, east of Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: At orders by regime government in Damascus, security services of the regime carried out a campaign against “drug” dealers in Al-Bokamal city which is controlled by regime forces and Iranian militias in east of Deir Ezzor. This was an attempt by the regime government to portray itself before public opinion as if it fights drug business, where security services have arrested 18 Syrians working for Iranian militias who work in drug business.

It is worth noting that Iranian militias and Lebanese “Hezbollah” exploit their power to pass big batches of “drugs” to neighbouring states. They also deal with civilians and regime soldiers to promote this trade which brings most of them huge sums of money.

On January 4, SOHR sources reported that a member of the Internal Security Forces was injured in clashes that erupted between a patrol of the security forces on one hand and a drug dealer and promoter on the other hand, after they stormed his house in Al-Joura neighbourhood in Deir Ezzor city.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the dealer is the commander of a group of members of the National Defence, which belongs to the regime.
