Security chaos | One kil-led and another injured in clashes between young men in Daraa

Daraa province: A civilian was killed while he was in the site of armed clashes, and another civilian was injured severely, due to being shot following disputes between young men in Tafs city in western Daraa countryside, amid a state of tension in the region and deployment of gunmen in the site of the clashes.

This comes in light of the security chaos and widespread of weapons among civilians, with inability of the local authorities to limit widespread of weapons.

Since early 2023, the number of attacks documented by SOHR in Daraa province has risen to 82, which left 62 people dead; and they are as follows:

• 22 civilians, including a child, a boy, three women and two men accused of “involving in drug business.”

• 28 regime soldiers, members and collaborators with regime security services.

• Two former fighters who did not join any military formation, after striking reconciliation deals.

• Five ISIS members.

• Three ex-combatants with settled-status working for regime services and backed militias.

• Two people working for the Lebanese Hezbollah.
