Ongoing security chaos | Members of “Manbij Military Council” kill three smugglers and set fire to two cars in eastern Manbij countryside

Aleppo province: Three smugglers were shot dead this morning by members of “Manbij Military Council,” in addition to setting fire to two cars in Tokhar village in Manbij countryside in eastern Aleppo countryside.

It is worth noting that the killed men were smuggling European-made cars from “Euphrates Shield” area to Manbij city.

Smuggling operations of fuel, cars and other materials are prevalent on frontlines separating “Euphrates Shield” areas from areas controlled by “Manbij Military Council,” which often lead to clashes between the two sides.

On June 2, SOHR sources reported that armed clashes erupted between smugglers and members of a customs patrol on Al-Sagour frontline in Manbij countryside in eastern Aleppo, within areas controlled by Manbij Military Council. The clashes lasted for more than two hours, which led to injuring a civilian seriously, and he was taken to a hospital in Manbij.
