Military escalation | Turkish forces fire heavy artillery on villages in Tel Tamer countryside amid civilian exodus

Al-Hasakah province: Turkish forces and their proxies fired heavy artillery shells in the earlier hours of Tuesday morning villages of Al-Laban, Al-Dardarah, Al-Tawilah, Tel Tawil in Tel Tamer countryside in north-western Al-Hasakah within areas controlled Tel Tamer Military Council. However, no casualties have been reported.

Villages near the frontlines in Tel Tamer countryside are witnessing an exodus of people towards safer areas, after the dramatic escalation including infiltration operations carried out by pro-Turkey factions, coincided with clashes and exchange of bombardment, which left casualties.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that the number of casualties during the clashes in Tel Tamer and its countryside has increased to 29; they are as follows:
24 members of the “National Army” faction including two commanders.
Five members of regime forces including an officer.
The death toll is expected to rise due to the presence of more than 20 injured members of the factions in serious conditions in Ras Al-Ain hospitals.
