Attempting to attack SDF positions | SDF shot down drone launched by gunmen in east Deir Ezzor countryside

Deir Ezzor province: Syrian Democratic Forces have shot down a drone using machineguns, while it was attempting to attack a military positions in Al-Hawayij town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. The drone was launched by local gunmen.

 

At the time of that attack, SOHR sources reported that a military convoy of the International Coalition was passin by Al-Shuhayl town in the same countryside, amid flights by helicopters to guard the convoy.

 

On December 23, SOHR sources reported that a group of local gunmen tried sneaking from the western bank of Euphrates River into Suwaydan Jazera Town to attack security checkpoints of SDF at the eastern bank of the river, where armed clashes erupted with rocket launchers and RPG shells between both sides.
