Fourth crime in 2024 | Elder man in his 60s kil*led in SDF-held areas in Al-Raqqa

Al-Raqqa province: Residents found the body of an elder man in his 60s shot dead inside his car on the agricultural road northern of Al-Raqqa within SDF-held areas.

It is worth noting that he hails from Al-Hokomiya Village in northern Al-Raqqa countryside and is known for his good reputation, while the reasons behind the crime remain unknown and the investigations are ongoing.

The Syrian Observatory has documented four murder crimes in SDF-controlled areas since early 2024, where domestic violence and armed robbery were behind some of these murders, while motivations behind the others remained unknown. These murders left six civilians fatalities; they are distributed regionally as follows:
– Deir Ezzor: One man.
– Al-Raqqah: Five men
