Accused of “belonging to ISIS” | SDF arrest suspect in rural Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR sources have reported that SDF members stationed at a checkpoint at Al-Attal roundabout on the outskirts of Al-Busayrah city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor arrested a suspect while working in distributing medicines. The movements of the man, who was an ex-ISIS commended, have recently been monitored, where security forces found that he traveled to Turkey for several times and has relations with local gunmen.

On January 31, SOHR sources reported that members of the Internal Security Forces “Al-Asayesh” arrested the brother of a commander of Deir Ezzor Military Council for “collaboration with ISIS”, after storming his house in Al-Ezba Town northern of Deir Ezzor, before taking him to a security centre.
