With escalation of crime rate within regime areas | Person shot dead gunshots in Homs countryside

Homs province: The body of a man was found murdered and showed signs of three bullets in the head, inside his poultry farm in Tarin village in the western countryside of Homs, without knowing the causes and motives of the crime.

The Syrian Observatory has documented 76 murders in regime-controlled areas since the bingeing of 2024, where domestic violence and armed robberies were behind some of these murders, while motives behind the others remained unknown. These murder crimes left 79 fatalities, including 13 women, 61 men and five children. The fatalities are distributed regionally as follows:

Daraa: 23 murder crimes left 16 men, including six women and two children dead.

Al-Suwaidaa: Eight murder crimes left six men, a woman and a child dead

Rif Dimashq: 13 murder crimes left nine men, three women and two children dead.

Homs: Ten murder crimes left ten civilians dead.

Hama: Five murder crimes left five civilians dead.

Al-Hasakah: Two murder crimes left two civilians dead.

Deir Ezzor: seven murder crimes left six men and a woman dead.

Damascus: Four murder crimes left a woman and three men dead.

Lattakia: Two murder crimes left two men and a woman dead.

Tartous: Two murder crimes left two men dead
