Horrible crime | Civilian kil*led by his own family members in Lattakia

Lattakia province: A young man was killed by his family, where he was hit on the head with an iron, tied up by his mother, sister and brother before his brother strangled him to death inside their house in Lattakia.

According to reliable SOHR sources, they committed the crime under the pretext that he suffers psychological issues and can not be controlled.

The Syrian Observatory has documented 78 murders in regime-controlled areas since the bingeing of 2024, where domestic violence and armed robberies were behind some of these murders, while motives behind the others remained unknown. These murder crimes left 81 fatalities, including 13 women, 63 men and five children. The fatalities are distributed regionally as follows:

Daraa: 23 murder crimes left 16 men, including six women and two children dead.

Al-Suwaidaa: Eight murder crimes left six men, a woman and a child dead

Rif Dimashq: 14 murder crimes left ten men, three women and two children dead.

Homs: Ten murder crimes left ten civilians dead.

Hama: Five murder crimes left five civilians dead.

Al-Hasakah: Two murder crimes left two civilians dead.

Deir Ezzor: seven murder crimes left six men and a woman dead.

Damascus: Four murder crimes left a woman and three men dead.

Lattakia: Three murder crimes left three men and a woman dead.

Tartous: Two murder crimes left two men dead
