Escalation of IS*IS attacks in Ramadan | More than 30 people including a woman kil*led in the Syrian Desert

ISIS cells escalated their activity during Ramadan in different areas of the Syrian Desert, in an attempt to proof theirselves despite being geographically defeated.

Since the beginning of Ramadan SOHR has documented the death of 31 people in 14 operations carried out by ISIS members, in addition to 10 members of regime forces were injured.

The fatalities are as follows:

A woman of truffle pickers.
28 of regime forces and their proxies, including two members of Iranian-backed militias of Syrian nationality.

Meanwhile, ten regime soldiers were injured.

The attacks are distributed as follows:
Deir Ezzor: Five attacks left seven members of the National Defence Forces, an officer of the 4th Division and a woman dead

Al-Raqqah: Three attacks left two Syrian members of Lebanese Hezbollah , two members of the 25th Division and a member of National Defence Forces dead.

Homs: Six attacks left seven members of National Defense Forces, three regime soldiers, Two ISIS members and two members of “Liwaa Al-Quds” dead.
