Ongoing chaos | Unidentified gunmen kidnap civilian from northern Homs countryside, in order to obtain ransom

Homs province: Unidentified gunmen kidnapped a civilian in Al-Za’afaraneiyah Town in northern Homs countryside while heading to the mosque, in order to obtain a ransom from his family, where his whereabouts and fate remain unknown.
While fingers of accusation point towards the gangs of “Salim Al- Najjar,” also known as “Salimo” who is dealing with “Shouj’a Al-Ali.”

On March 24, SOHR sources reported that members of an armed gang kidnapped two young men from Saleem town in northern Al-Suwaidaa countryside, while their whereabouts and fate remain unknown.
The relatives of the kidnapped civilians made humanitarian appeals to reveal the fate of the young men.
This comes in light of ongoing security chaos in regime-held areas.
