After attacking military vehicle during demonstration | SDF arrest eight people in northern countryside of Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: SDF arrested eight people in a security campaign targeting Al-Sour town in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor, after their participation in the demonstration that was staged on March 25, in the town, in protest against the deteriorating living and service conditions.
According to SOHR activists, these people were arrested on charges of attacking an SDF military vehicle with stones during the demonstration, where they were taken to a security centre without knowing their fate.
On March 25, SOHR reported that many civilians staged an angry popular demonstration in Al-Sour town, within SDF-held areas, in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor, amid burning tires, in protest against the cutting of electricity to civilian houses a week ago, the deterioration of living conditions due to the high prices of basic foodstuffs and the complete absence of ration control. They also denounced the imposition of financial royalties on goods vehicles by “customs” in Deir Ezzor areas.
