“Putin-Erdogan” area | Regime soldier shot dead by HTS in northern countryside of Latakia, and civilian injured in artillery shelling west of Aleppo

A regime soldier was killed after ground targeting by HTS mebers on the frontline of Al-Kabinah Hills in the northern countryside of Latakia, within “Putin, Erdogan” area.
Moreover, a civilian was injured as a result of an artillery shelling carried out by regime forces, targeting Al-Atareb city in the western countryside of Aleppo.
Regime forces also fired heavy artillery shells and rocket launchers on the frontines of San, Maarablit and Al-Barah in the southern countryside of Idlib, Al-Nayrab in the eastern countryside of Idlib and Kafar Ammah, Kafar Taal,and Al-Qasir in the western countryside of Aleppo, amid the flight of reconnaissance aircraft over the area.

Since early 2024, SOHR has documented 2operations in the “de-escalation zone,” including attacks by ground forces, gunfire by snipers, bombardment and drone attacks, which left 196 combatants and civilians dead. In addition, these operations left over 79 combatants and 90 civilians, including 14 children, injured.

The fatalities can be distributed as follows:

18 civilians, including seven children and two women.
119 members of regime forces, including 11 officers.
51 members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham.
Five members of “Ansar Al-Islam” faction.
One member of “Jaysh Al-Nasr.”
One member of “Jaysh Al-Ahrar.”
A foreign jihadist.
