Airstrikes and shells target a number of areas in Deir Ezzor city, leaving more martyrs and injured

Deir Ezzor Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: a young man from Al-Sheikh Yassin neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city died of injuries sustained in an airstrike on areas in the neighborhood yesterday. Warplanes, believed to be affiliated with the International Coalition, also shelled areas in Al-Mayadeen city and Al-Quriyah town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor after midnight yesterday. Casualties were reported. Simultaneously, the “Islamic State” organization shelled areas in the neighborhoods of Al-Jorah and Al-Qosur which are under the control of the regime forces in Deir Ezzor city, causing the death of a female citizen and the injury of others. Another female citizen and her daughter also lost their lives in an airstrike carried out by the International Coalition warplanes earlier on areas in Beqres town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, while the number of martyrs, belonging to the same family, who lost their lives as a result of an airstrike by the warplanes on areas in Muhassan town at dawn yesterday rose to 6, including a lady and 4 of her grandchildren, in addition to two female citizens, two children and an infant.
