In conjunction with preparations by the International Coalition and SDF for a violent ground attack against the organization in the east of the Euphrates River…the regime forces and their allies fortify the Euphrates’ western bank
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained information from reliable sources, which confirmed that the regime forces have brought military reinforcements of their forces and the forces of their allies to the western banks of the Euphrates River, opposite the controlled areas of the “Islamic State” organization, in its last enclave at the eastern bank of the Euphrates River, along with preparations by the International Coalition and the SDF to start a military operation and end the presence of organization in the eastern bank of the Euphrates River, and the sources confirmed that the points of the regime forces and their fortifications have been strengthened, as a proactive procedure in order to prevent the members of the organization from infiltrating to the regime’s controlled areas in the west of the river.
The Syrian Observatory published yesterday that Hajin area witnesses the continuation of preparations by the International Coalition and the Syria Democratic Forces; for the military operation to be carried out against the last enclave of the “Islamic State” organization in the east bank of Euphrates River, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, tens of vehicles carrying hundreds of members arrived in the vicinity of this enclave, in preparation for the attack on Hajin town and the towns and villages adjacent to it in this enclave to end the existence of the organization in it, after finishing from the last enclave of the Organization in the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah, after which the organization was completely expelled from the area, and its presence in al-Hasakah Province was ended completely as a controlling organization.
The SOHR also published hours ago, that it monitored the continuation of clashes between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, the Iranian forces, and the forces loyal to them, against members of the “Islamic State” organization in places in the area between the Iraqi borders, al-Bokamal, the 2nd Station, and outskirts of the eastern desert of Homs, within regime forces’ operations to end the existence of the Organization in the area and control the remaining sites of the Organization in the aforementioned area, the clashes are accompanied by exchange of targeting in the clash areas between both parties, and the Syrian Observatory learned that the regime forces were able to control points that allow them to monitor the whole area adjacent to the Syrian – Iraqi border, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the killing of more members during the shelling, targeting, and clashes between both parties, where it rose to 31 at least, the number of members of the organization who were killed in these clashes, also the Syrian Observatory documented the death of at least 6 members of the regime forces and their allies, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation.
