Implementing Russians last deal |4th Division continues withdraw of Daraa al-Balad vicinity while ambiguity faces oppositionists

Daraa province: SOHR activists have reported, today, the ongoing withdrawal of the military reinforcement that were brought by the 4th Division from Daraa al-Balad vicinity in a move to continue the implementation of the deal terms that have been imposed by the Russians on the regime forces which have been agreed upon by Daraa dignitaries and committees eight days ago.

It is worth noting that the deal items have been implemented on Sept, 6 after giving a a12-hour- time limit.

According to sources, the military reinforcements have gathered in Daraa al-Mahatah while the civilians have continued to return back to their houses in Daraa al-Balad via al-Sarai checkpoint.

Destiny of those rejecting the Russian deal is still ambiguous while some similar to al-Harfoush and al-Hafaw has been still staying in Daraa camp.

Yesterday, SOHR sources monitored ongoing inspection operations by regime forces and Russian military police in the neighbour hoods of Daraa al-Balad, along with tense calm prevailing in the region on the sixth day after the start of implementation of the terms of the recent agreement regarding the situation in Daraa al-Balad.

Moreover, SOHR sources reported partial withdrawal by regime forces from several posts after inspecting surrounding areas for unknown reasons.

A day earlier, SOHR sources reported seeing a convoy of the Syrian Red Crescent carrying food supplies entering the neighbourhoods of Daraa al-Balad, Tariq al-Sadd and camps in Daraa city. It is worth noting that this convoy was the first of its kind to enter Daraa after the strict siege which lasted for nearly 80 days.

Earlier this morning, SOHR sources monitored ongoing tense calm on the fifth day after the start of implementation of the terms of the recent agreement regarding the situation in Daraa al-Balad, as regime forces and Russian military police continued inspection in the region, amid the return of more people who were forced to displace due to the earlier military escalation by regime forces.

It was expected that the case of people opposing the recent agreement in Tariq al-Sadd and Daraa camp would be dealt with. These people had the options of leaving to north Syria or to strike new reconciliations, as Russian and regime forces threatened to launch a military operation in that region if the inhabitants did not bow to their demands.
