ISIS resurgence | Unidentified gunmen attack SDF military position in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported that unidentified gunmen have fired machineguns and missiles on SDF checkpoint located between Al-Jarzi and Abu Hardob towns, leaving SDF member injured.
This comes amid the ongoing dramatic increase of ISIS’s armed activities in the Autonomous Administration of North and Northeast Syria controlled areas.
Yesterday, ISIS members mounted two separate attacks, targeting two military positions in east and west countryside of Deir Ezzor on Wednesday evening.
The first attack took place in Al-Shuhail desert, east of Deir Ezzor, where an ISIS cell attacked a military post of Deir Ezzor Military Council, killing five members.
While in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, ISIS members targeted a Self-Defence Forces’ postion in Jazra Al-Bushms town, killing Four members of Self-Defence Forces and ISIS suicide bomber who waged the attack after being shot, and the SDF captured two ISIS assailants.
