Demanding improvement | Women protest in front of Tel Abyad crossing in “Peace Spring” area

Al-Raqqa province: SOHR activists have reported that women went out on protests in front of Tel Abyad border crossing within “Peace Spring” area, demanding improvement of living conditions, in the absence of necessities of life.

This comes after the authorities of Tel Abyad area failed to secure the protestors’ demands and only gave promises without showing primary signs of a solution to the residents’ suffering.

The “Peace Spring” area in Turkish-held areas has been witnessing monopolization of rescue materials by institutions, with the absence of bread in the area in addition to the raise in prices.

It is worth noting that this demonstration is the second during this week, which demands improvement of life qualities with the silence of local authorities.
