Abdul Hakim al-Shishani said:
“The reason for our meeting is for our people in al-Sham to know our position towards the bloodshed and sedition that have spread recently, and we speak in the name of Chechnya, and the reason we come here to the land of Sham is to help our Muslim people and be of help to them, and we do not want and have no intention of interfering in sedition and inner affairs of the Sham land, due to our well-awareness of these seditions and misfortunes, because this existed in our country Chechnya and still exist to this day, and due to many other reasons, for that we do not interfere in these matters, and we are here to help the Muslims in what vexation in the enemies of ALLAH, whether by Rabat against the enemies of Islam, fight or military education and training camps within our capabilities and possibilities, and we have not and we will not interfere in the internal problems, and any step we take and work with; we consult the Sharia Scholars and the consulting persons of the Muslims, and the honest Sharia Scholars inside and outside Syria “.

While Muslim al-Shishani the “Emir of Junud al-Sham said:
“We are here to show our position on the events that took place in the north of Syria, when ISIL got out of here and its supporters got out, there were some seditions and we did not interfere with them, and we heard that in recent events between Ahrar al-Sham and Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham some immigrant participated in these events, and everyone knows the Chechen brothers do not interfere in the internal problems of the Sham land, unless the intervention is for advice or for good work, and we have seen the results of rumors of the immigrant participation in the recent events on the checkpoints that we go through, where some blame us or get angry of us, and we came to help the Sham land to practice their religion freely, and we do not see it right to participate to raise a group or fall another, that is why we will not be a party in the internal problems, and regardless of everything; our religion is one and our goal is one even if we disagree in some things we do not have the right to fight among ourselves, unless the Sharia Scholars agree that a certain group must be fought then we are ready, also we are ready for Rabat with factions and to fight with any faction against the criminal regime and its allies”.
