As if killing and displacing them are not enough, the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them loot the property of Syrians east of Daraa

Looting, no geographic area bounds it and no “legal” regulations to stop it, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored new operations carried out by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them in Daraa Province, after controlling towns and villages in its eastern countryside adjacent to al-Suwaidaa province, the situation here is just like the case of other areas controlled by the regime forces, they did not have enough by killing and displacing people of these areas; they also loot their property, also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored another looting carried out by the regime forces yesterday, against several homes in Douma and outskirts of al-Shifonyyah area in the eastern Ghouta, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 9th of June that locals confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them have carried out a looting operations of the property of citizens, where home appliances, furniture and home property were transported to areas outside of Douma city towards the outskirts of the capital Damascus, which is controlled by the regime forces, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received preliminary information about regime’s intention to open the roads to the Eastern Ghouta in the coming days, which will allow thousands of families to return to their cities and towns from which they have been displaced; before the siege of the regime forces and their allies of the Eastern Ghouta.

This looting operation comes about 2 weeks after a raid by the regime police for the looting markets in the areas which were controlled by the regime forces in the suburbs of the capital, where many families of members and officers of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them reside, where the Syrian Observatory published on the 27th of May 2018 that Dahiyat al-Assad which is located within the eastern suburbs of the capital Damascus, opposite to Harasta city, witnessed raids carried out by the regime police, on markets in the area for selling household items and furniture, and in the details monitored by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights; the police of the regime raided the market of looted things in Dahiyat al-Assad which is inhabited by many families of the members of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, where they confiscated household items, furniture and equipment which had been looted by gunmen loyal to the regime and members of the regime forces from Harasta city, the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus and other areas in the outskirts and vicinity of the capital Damascus, after the regime forces and their allies imposed their control over them, which provoked mockery of citizens who said that the police loot what had been looted as if a thief robs another thief, in an attempt by the regime forces to absorb the resentment of the citizens and their reaction against the looting processes of the houses and property in the south of the capital Damascus, the Eastern Ghouta and other areas in the vicinity of the capital.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published earlier evening, that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored members of the Russian military police insulting members of pro-regime gunmen, after arresting them while they were looting houses of citizens in the southern Rif Dimashq, where the Russian police arrested them, lied them down and forced them to return the things they have looted from the houses of the citizens in Babbila town, which witnessed with the towns of Yalda and Beit Saham, during the past 2 weeks, displacement processes of hundreds of citizens and fighters with their families to the Syrian North.

This incident comes 10 days after insulting an officer of the regime forces and hitting him by members of the military police for a similar reason, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 17th of May 2018, that areas of the supporters and loyalists of the regime are witnessing a widespread resentment against the backdrop of a tension that has been taking place between the Russian Forces and the regime Forces, and in details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: this tension and the accompanying resentment happened when members of the Russian military police who are spreading in Babbila town south of Rif Dimashq; hit an officer of the regime forces and several of his members in the town, from which its people had been displaced during the past few days, where the Russian military police accused the officer and his members of stealing the houses of citizens in the town, in which the displacement agreement took place by a Russian guarantee, and what increased the discontent of regime’s public was that the military police assaulted the officers in front of the pedestrians and citizens in Babbila town.
